The Sinulog 2016 fever is definitely in the air, and it is the most-anticipated event in the Queen City of the South right after the New Year’s day celebration. The thrill and excitement over the Sinulog Festival can be felt all over the country.
As a yearly tradition, skincare expert Psalmstre Enterprises, Inc. will join in the float parade. The concept of its float aims to relive the events in 1521, when the Spaniards led by Ferdinand Magellan set foot in the island. The company will introduce Kapamilya hunk Ejay Falcon as Datu Lapu-Lapu and Miss Earth-Air 2012 Stephany Stefanowitz as Rayna Bulakna. The two, who are endorsers of Psalmstre New Placenta for Men and Women, expressed their excitement when they learned that this is their first project together.
“We want a different concept this time. Psalmstre makes sure that it is something different from our previous entries. It is our way of expressing our gratitude for the Cebuano’s overwhelming patronage of our products through the years and our simple way of paying tribute and homage to the Child Jesus,” said chief executive officer Jim Acosta.
When asked who will play the role of Magellan, Jim explained, “To play the role of Magellan, he has to be a Spanish-looking gentleman. We will introduce him to the media very soon as we are still fixing his travel papers and schedule.”
This is not the first time for both celebrities to join Sinulog, but the first time to be together as part of their projects as New Placenta endorsers. Ejay and Stephany are both happy they are able to find time to work together despite their hectic schedules.
“I have been working with actresses, and I am looking forward to work with Steph, who is a beauty queen. Now that this time has come, I am so thankful to Sir Jim for making this project possible,” enthused Ejay.
“I think the feeling is mutual. I am also super excited to work with Ejay, more especially that we will work together again in Panagbenga, in Baguio, this coming February 2016,” shared the half-Visayan beauty queen.
