New Placenta's participation in Sinulog Festival last January 17, 2016 has been, by far, its most ambitious and the most applauded ever.
Enjoying the southern hospitality of Cebu and heralded by local tourists who flocked to Cebu to witness one of the country's much awaited festivals were TV actor and New Placenta for Men endorser Ejay Falcon, Miss Earth-Air 2012 and New Placenta endorser Stephany Stefanowitz, and Mr Puerto Rico-International 2015 Fernando Alvarez, the newest brand ambassador of New Placenta for Men.The trio brought Cebu closer to its roots, that is, the historic events of 1521 when Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan as played by Fernando, first set foot on Philippine land and his encounter with the courageous Datu Lapu-Lapu depicted by Ejay, with the Datu's beautiful wife Reyna Bulakna, represented by no other than Stephany.
Braving hours of heat in a galleon-themed parade donned in colorful period costumes, the three tirelessly waved and greeted the locals and tourists. Ejay, as expected due to his high visibility on television, drew huge applause and cheers along with Stephany. The celebrated beauty queen has been participating in Sinulog Festival via Psalmstre's New Placenta. Fernando, who had to endure a 40-hour travel from Puerto Rico to make it in time for the festival, elicited genuine curiosity from among the crowd, being a fresh face in the festival yet commanding with his impressive physique, jolly personality, and handsome allure.
The success of New Placenta's Sinulog Festival participation did not end there though. An intimate round table discussion followed with the local media.
Filipinos' hearts extend to foreign personalities as has been evident with various international personalities who consider the Philippines their second home - a place and its people having a special spot in their hearts. It would not be surprising to see more of Fernando Alvarez, who incidentally, has expressed his interest to try his luck in the local entertainment and fashion industry.
Psalmstre founder and CEO Jaime V. Acosta accompanied his celebrity endorsers and brand ambassador to Cebu for the festival. From this year's huge success, Acosta shared his gratitude to all Cebuanos as well as to local tourists for their warm welcome. In-country representation of the Caribbean hunk Fernando is through CREWorks Asia. For his initial commitment as the newest brand ambassador of New Placenta for Men, he is expected to be visible in various local and regional brand appearances and trade events.
