Anastasia Lenna, Miss Grand Ukraine in 2015, was trending on her Instagram that she is one of hundreds of Ukrainians who have taken up guns to protect their country.She has 245k Instagram followers and has utilized her platform to raise awareness about Ukraine's continuing situation. Anastassia has moved forth to protect her homeland following the Russian invasion. She uploaded a picture of herself wearing a military outfit and holding an airsoft pistol around a week ago. However, in a long post, she stressed that she is "just a regular human" and an "airsoft player," and that her photos are meant to encourage people and demonstrate how strong, confident, and powerful Ukrainian women are. She urged her audience to take action and help halt Russian aggression. She uses her influence to call for others to take action with their Ukrainian military to join their president, VolodymyrZelenskyy, for stepping forward in a war situation to defend their nation from Russia. "Everyone who crosses the Ukrainian border with the intent to invade will be killed!" she said in one post. In numerous more messages to her followers, the former Miss Ukraine asked for worldwide assistance. Miss Ukraine Universe 2021 Hanna Nepliakh has appealed for peace and respect for her country. On Facebook, Hanna raised a card with the words: “Peace in Ukraine.” She captioned her post with the hashtag “#AllWeNeedIs peace and respect for the sovereignty of Ukraine.” On February February 24, 2022, she first posted "Today I woke up at 5 am from shots.” She continued, “I would never have thought that living in a civilized society where everyone is shouting about diplomacy, I would write a message to my loved ones 'the war has begun'. Russia launched a full-scale war against Ukraine.” At the latter part of her post, she exclaimed, "Ukrainians don’t want war! We want a peaceful sky and the integrity and independence of our territories." Ms. Universe 2011, OlesiaStefaniko from Ukraine, expressed her anguished on the current situation that her country is facing right now.
She said, “My beautiful Ukraine! No words can describe how devastated I am, how much pain I feel for my people in Ukraine.” Despite being away from her country, she expressed her prayers for the safety of her fellow citizen. “Although I’m thousands miles away, this doesn’t mean I don’t care. Praying for all Ukrainian people and Ukrainian army. We’re strong and the victory is close!” she continued. She called for others to have their voices be heard in this time of casualty in their country and encourage her supporters from Russia to not be fooled by the dictatorship of its president, Vladimir Putin. She said, “Please don’t be silent, let the world know what is happening in Ukraine. My followers from Russia don’t let to fool yourself!
