​The quest for the coveted Binibini crowns ends last night, (April 17) as winners of this year’s pageant were crowned at the Grand Coronation Night at the Big Dome. Maria Mika Maxine Medina, a professional model and interior designer graduate of the Philippine School of Interior Design won the top plum of Miss Universe Philippines 2016 and will be the country’s official delegate to the 2016 Miss Universe Pageant. She was crowned by no less than the reigning Miss Universe, our very own Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach who received a thunderous applause and standing ovation during her farewell walk (as Miss Universe Philippines 2015) from the enthusiastic crowd who witness the historic event.
